Denver PrideFest Headliners: Pattie Gonia, Detox, Miss Vanjie, & CHIKA

Denver Pride officially announces its headliners for the largest LGBTQ+ celebration in the Rocky Mountain region! Queer icons Pattie Gonia, Detox, Miss Vanjie, and CHIKA will headline the event on June 28-29.

The bold new theme for Denver Pride is Hearts on Fire, honoring the passion, resilience, and love at the core of the queer community. The two days of music, entertainment, community, and pride is produced by The Center on Colfax, an LGBTQ+ organization that provides essential services including mental health support, and dedicated programming for transgender and gender-diverse individuals, youth, older adults, and more since 1976.

“This year’s theme, Hearts on Fire, speaks to the passion that drives our community to keep showing up, speaking out, and celebrating who we are,” says Natalie Zanoni, Interim Chief Operating Officer of The Center on Colfax. “This weekend produces the largest annual fundraiser for The Center and contributes directly to critical services for the members of the Colorado LGBTQ+ community. Our 2025 headliners embody the creativity and joy that light our way forward. We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a weekend of celebration and connection.”

The Headliners

Pattie Gonia | June 28, 1:30 p.m. 

Environmentalist, drag queen, and advocate Pattie Gonia uses the art of drag to connect people to the outdoors and climate activism. Honored by TIME, National Geographic, and Outside Magazine, Pattie’s drag is a personal journey of self-identity, sustainability, and queering traditional masculine outdoor narratives to explore the natural world.

Detox | June 28, 3:00 p.m. 

International drag icon and RuPaul’s Drag Race alum, Detox is known for her sharp style and sharper wit. With performances across five continents and viral chart-topping hits like “Chow Down at Chick-fil-A,” Detox continues to entertain and advocate through bold, boundary-breaking artistry.

Miss Vanjie | June 29, 3:00 p.m.

Miss Vanjie … Miss … Vaaaanjie … Nobody has ever had such an iconic exit from Rupaul’s Drag Race, and she has since become a global drag sensation! Known worldwide for her unmistakable voice and fierce dance moves, Vanjie has starred on MTV’s All Star Shore and headlined her own dating series, 24 Hours of Love. After returning to compete on RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars, she’s ready to keep reminding everyone why the world fell in love with Vanessa Vanjie.

CHIKA | June 29, 3:30 p.m. 

CHIKA is a 27-year-old American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Montgomery, Alabama. She rose to fame through viral social media freestyles, which led to a record deal with Warner Records, and her debut EP, Industry Games (2020), earned her a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. In 2023, she released her first full-length album, Samson: The Album. CHIKA is of Nigerian-American descent and openly bisexual.

The weekend-long celebration will also include the 2025 Vizzy Denver Pride Parade, the Pride 5K, more than 300 exhibitors, delicious local food and drink, a dedicated youth area, and a vibrant family zone. With over 550,000 attendees expected, Denver Pride stands as one of the largest free Pride events in the country and a powerful celebration of visibility, unity, and support for LGBTQ+ Coloradans.
