Denver Home Show: a showcase of innovation and thrifty fashion tips
The warm air is getting Colorado locals excited about the opportunity to fix up their homes and gardens in preparation for our famous patio get-togethers and barbecue fiestas.

Each year the Denver Home Show brings in designers and experts to help you get your home in tip-top shape at a reasonable cost through do-it-yourself home-improvement projects.
The Denver Home Show will be held March 16-18 at the National Western Complex, Expo Hall and Arena, 4655 Humboldt St., with tips from home improvement celebrities like William Moss, the Garden Boss who will speak on organic gardening ideas and season six’s Project Runway fashion designer favorite, Christopher Straub who will show off his new line of dresses made from everyday materials.
“Home Depot challenged me to make a signature dress using only products from the aisles of their store and not exceeding a $20 budget,” Straub said. “I’ll take you through a presentation of how I made the piece, and then a live model will be strutting the stage in the completed dress.” This is fashion at its finest, or should we say craftiest.

The Denver Home Show gives Coloradans the opportunity to bump up their gardens with presentations from local landscape professionals as well as tips to create eco-friendly solutions to creating guesthouses and suites that are sure to make your neighbors jealous. And get renovation tips for interior updates with a free 10-minute consultation with Boulder designer Wynn Waggoner.
“I am looking forward to sharing practical and visually artistic design ideas with everyone,” Waggoner said. “I strive to consistently present new home decorating and remodeling ideas not seen everyday.”
Get your home and garden looking its best this year while indulging in your inner-fashion queen with the best pros around.
Tickets are $8 online and $11 at the door; children 12 and under are free. For details on events visit Denver Home Show.
