Following up on the 10th Circuit Court’s decision regarding Utah’s same-sex marriage ban, it was a no-brainer for U.S. District Court Judge Raymond Moore, who found the same-sex marriage ban in Colorado to be unconstitutional.
He has also issued a stay on the decision, saying that the outcome of the Utah appeal headed for the Supreme Court will also affect the outcome of the Colorado decision. There is also language on this stay that gives Colorado the opportunity to lengthen the stay pending Colorado’s own appeal of the decision.
