Check Out ‘Carnival Heart’ by Country Star Sam Williams

Sam Williams, who has been named as one of the brightest voices of “The New Nashville,” has released a new song. The track is called “Carnival Heart,” and it’s being hailed as the anthem for the Cirque De Soleil produced song “Songs Blazers.”

Williams is grandson of the great Hank Williams and the son of outlaw Hank jr. At just 22 years old, Williams has lived a life full of tragedies that many his age do not go through, one of his biggest heartbreaks being the death of his sister Katie, who was tragically killed in a car wreck.

Being a Tennessee native, it is no surprise that Williams is an aspiring country musician, hailing from a state where the blues have influenced decades worth of music. However being a Tennessee resident also means he has a complicated relationship with country music as a queer person, and he’s exploring it all through his art.

Williams describes his love for the art is a blessing. ” I love painting a picture and causing curiosity in someone about a character or story. Getting to be part of this and getting to collaborate with world-class entertainers is a blessing.”

An artist like Williams is one whom you do not want to miss out on. His angelic voice and gut-wrenching rhythms come together to make a beautiful peace of art that combines into one neatly wrapped gift.

Something that Williams does so well in this song in particular is being a story teller, and the background instrumentals and harmonies just add to the overall vibe.

All in all, Williams is giving us that and more with this beautiful song. Nashville is notorious for producing magnificent artists including Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus, both examples of folks who have gone on to become huge artists. I believe it is only a matter of time before Williams starts getting the attention he deserves.
