Chaos Bloom Theater Invites You to Improv!

Chaos Bloom Theater is located on South Broadway in the eclectic Baker neighborhood. Chaos Bloom brings Improv and Sketch Comedy to South Broadway, keeping up with their eclectic vibe and providing a safe space for everyone. They host shows Thursday through Sunday, with performers from New York City, Las Angeles, and of course our home city of Denver! If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at comedy, Chaos Bloom is the place to start. They offer a full training course, with classes in improv, sketch, clowning, and stand up. They also have summer camps for kids looking to get into improv and comedy film making.

For those new to improv who want to learn, they have drop-in mini improv classes every Thursday, as well as their Improv Emporium Galoriam, each of them for $5 entry. On Fridays, they host various shows, such as Improv Cabaret and Bachelor Improvadise. Saturdays are home to Free Improv Jams where you can build a team and work together to practice your improv. They’re a great spot to check out if you’re interested in getting into the theater community or learning a new hobby.

On February 23, the show Mean Ghouls: Live, Laugh, Lovecraft comes to the stage, a drag sketch comedy show put on by Chaos Bloom. According to the team at Chaos Bloom, this is a show “Featuring spine-tingling performances by Skeleton Kii, Mr.Valdez, Weird Al Spankavitch, and The Agenda, hosted by the incomparable Freda Slaves.” This magnificent show blends comedy, drag and the macabre with the majestic. For a chance to win a prize, you can come dressed in your best Valentine’s Day outfit, so wear your heart on your sleeve!

In times like these, local community and hobbies are more important than ever. Come find both at Chaos Bloom!
