Celebrate at The Triangle’s Pride in Paradise Block Party This Saturday
This weekend, in collaboration with Bodhi Calagna, The Triangle Bar is throwing its annual Pride in Paradise Block Party. This year, it is going for a house theme and that’s reflected in their lineup, consisting of Kaleena Zanders, Bexxie, Karsten Sollors, Calagna, Anthony Allie, and more.
The lineup this year has “a strong female presence,” says Bodhi Calagna, DJ, producer, and fellow performer at this year’s event. Ahead of the festivities, we got to catch up with some of the talented names on the roster.
Kaleena Zanders is a singer who has also started DJing throughout her performances. Zanders has performed at festivals like Coachella, EDC, and Governors Ball. The block party will also be Kaleena Zanders’ first time performing in Denver.
“I always love playing Pride parties because people are extra joyous and a chance to play in front of people like me is always the best. Also, this is my first time in Denver, and I heard Denver turns up!” Zanders says.
Bexxie similarly plans to get the folks at the Pride in Paradise Block Party dancing this weekend. The singer behind the recent single “The Time” will also perform in Denver for the first time at the party and can’t hold back her excitement.
“This is my first time playing in Denver, and I’m really excited to be playing the Pride Block Party alongside some majorly talented artists!” Bexxie says.
Karsten Sollors joins the lineup for the second time this year. Sollors is eager to bring his tunes to the Mile High City for a second year, and we just can’t wait to see what songs he performs.
“Thrilled to be back at Denver Pride, second year in a row, at the Triangle Block Party,” Sollors says. “Last year was so special, and I know this one is going to be epic. I adore playing music for a crowd of people expressing their true authenticity. Life is too short and precious to be operating any other way. See you soon, Denver. let’s get wild!”
Bodhi Calagna is also part of the jam-packed lineup, performing as Calagna. While he isn’t new to the party, he’s just as excited as anyone to party with Denver’s LGBTQ community on Saturday.
“Seeing all races, genders, and sexual orientations represented last year was incredible. Everyone is there getting down, enjoying the music, and celebrating who they are. We want to create a space where everybody is welcome, including our allies. It will be a fantastic day with house music, positive energy, and Pride vibes. Join us!”
