Good news for people who travel to cities along the I-25 and I-70 corridors: Your chariots arrive this spring.
CDOT is unveiling the”Bustang,” a state-owned and operated bus system that’ll connect you via the current park and ride locations ya know and love.
That’s Denver, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs along the I-25 corridor
and
Denver and Glenwood Springs along I-70.
How often do they run?
Glenwood Springs and Denver and on I-25 will get one roundtrip ride per day.
CO Springs to Denver will get six roundtrips per day (five during peak, one during off-peak)
Fort Collins to Denver will get five round trips per day (four during peak, one during off-peak)
(Bonus: People with disabilities and seniors over 65 get a 25 percent discount.)
Ok, so how much?
- Fort Collins to Union Station = $10 per trip
- Colorado Springs to Union Station = $12 per trip
- Glenwood Springs to Union Station = $28 per trip
- Vail to Union Station = $17 a trip
Thirteen 50-passenger buses will be on rotation for each route. Check this: They’ve got restrooms, bike racks, free WiFi, power outlets, and USB ports. (Sweet!)
