Colorado’s favorite gay Saturday Night Live comedian, Bowen Yang, has officially become a star. In the modern era of celebrity, you haven’t made it until you’re in a bit where you read off tweets about yourself.
The Aurora high school graduate turned SNL star sat down with Buzzfeed to read juicy thirst tweets about himself. The content gives similar vibes as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where they read hilarious tweets about themselves.
The video is a part of an ongoing Buzzfeed series called “Thirst Tweet.” It features a spin-off of the classic tweet reading idea. They post tweets from fans who express their undying love and romantic, sexual urges they feel for celebrities. This concept will leave you rolling on the floor laughing thy ass off.
A fan favorite moment in the “Thirst Tweet” series was when actor Taron Egerton, who’s known for playing Elton John in Rocketman, learned what a “bussy” was.
Yang paid homage by referencing this moment when he read a tweet about a fan wanting Yang to spit in their mouth.
“This is a Taron Egerton moment for all of you,” Yang says. “I have a great mussy.”
He joked “What’s it called when you’re, like, the receptive partner to spit? That’s what I am. I’m like a spit bottom.”
“I guess I’m here to coin ‘mussy’—a ‘bussy’ with an m,” he continues. “You do the math.”
Later on in the video, he calls back his previous mussy joke when reading a new tweet about his mouth.
“I’m obsessed with Bowen Yang’s mouth.”
He declares, “You mean my mussy?”
Another highlight of the “Thirst Tweet” video was when Yang expressed his desires in becoming a big, gay tourist attraction for men visiting the NYC.
“I would love to be, like, the sexual equivalent of tickets to Hamilton,” Yang adds. “I would love to be a New York City attraction. Like, come to the city, and, you’re lucky if you have the right concierge at your hotel, they might be able to get you a message for me on Grindr.”
