Boulder, Get Ready for Heart & Hustle: A Knockout Drag Spectacular!

When their original venue abruptly canceled Tales of the Mine: Drag and Drafts, P.L.A.Y. (Please Play As You) Education Corporation was left scrambling. But the Boulder community stepped up. Within days, local business partners, families, and advocates came together to find a new event space at The Corner Boxing Club, rebuild the event, and reaffirm why safe queer gatherings matter—now more than ever. They found a new home and, with it, a renewed sense of purpose.

On Friday, October 17, P.L.A.Y. Education Corporation is hosting Heart & Hustle: A Knockout Drag Spectacular, which promises to be a vibrant night of queer joy for all ages, allyship, and a celebration of everyone that has ever been told they are either “too much” or “not enough.” The event is built on the belief that being yourself unabashedly is bold and beautiful. Guests who attend Heart & Hustle will experience a one-of-a-kind, 360-degree drag performances with artists of all genders from the LGBTQ+ community. The drag section of the event will be age-appropriate for individuals 18 and older.

Once again, P.L.A.Y.
