Black Owned Brunch Event Coming to Denver in June

Part networking event, part entertainment experience, Black Owned Brunch is just around the corner, the event set for next month.

According to the Facebook event page, “Black Owned Brunch is a networking and entertainment experience created to bring Black entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders together to celebrate, collaborate, and socialize.”

The event will be presented by Black-owned, Denver beauty brand Estelle Lux Collection, which was launched in May 2020 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Creator Lucretia Estelle worked to ensure the brand is inclusive of all skin tones.

There will be number of ways to enjoy the event, with a variety of ticket packages:

The Bottomless Mimosas+Specialty Cocktails package is $75 plus a $6.20 fee and includes unlimited mimosas and specialty cocktails (while supplies last). The Brunch+Unlimited Mimosas+Specialty Cocktails package is $100 plus a $7.72 fee and includes brunch with unlimited mimosas and specialty cocktails for the duration of the events.

Attendees can also opt for the Premium Bottle Add-On package for $150 plus a $10.76 fee, which includes your choice of a 750 ml bottle of Don Julio, Hennessey, Crowne, Grey Goose, or Ciroc.

Event-goers can expect music from DJ Squizzy Taylor and KDJ Above, along with brand activations, private lounge sections, not to mention unlimited cocktail and mimosa selections alongside a tasty, Caribbean-themed brunch.

The brunch menu will be provided by Kyngston Kytchen and includes jerk chicken and waffle sliders, shrimp and grits, breakfast potatoes, fruit and veggie kabobs, eggs, and bacon.

The dress code is strictly cocktail attire for the event; no jeans, athletic wear, or sandals are allowed.

Black Owned Brunch is “ushering in summer with good vibes and beautiful people” and slated for Sunday, June 20 from 1-6 p.m. on The Metlo Rooftop at 1111 Broadway in Denver.
