Alba Avella, babe in the brush
Alba is a favorite lady bartender at Tracks and the clubgoers can’t get enough of her warm demeanor, outgoing personality, and well – let’s just say it – she just makes the bar look good.
What are your favorite nights of the week to work?
Fridays and Saturdays of course!
What is the best pickup line someone has tried on you?
Most women at Tracks assume I’m straight, they tell me that I’m too pretty to be gay. And, one time a girl used the classic, “If I told you that you had a nice body, would you hold it against me?”
Do you have a specialty shot?
I make a white gummy bear – grape vodka, peach, splash of pineapple, splash of sprite. Could be a cocktail, or a shot.
What is your attitude at the bar?
I’m an open book. What you see is what you get. I’m friendly, sassy, sometimes sweet, sometimes abrasive. I’m courteous and nice to everyone, for the most part.
How would you describe yourself?
I’m outgoing, smart, and very opinionated. I’m compassionate when it comes to animals and children. I want to save the world one homeless animal at a time. I’m authentic and real with no exceptions.
What is your favorite aspect of bartending at the biggest gay club?
It is a great working environment with great employees, and great managers. I’ve had so much fun so far with all the different events that we do, and how different every event is. The people who work there are awesome, and always have my back, which is rare in the service industry.
